One River doesn’t categorize its sound in general, but if it did, it would say “we have a bit of an Indie feel”. One River takes world music and fuses it with elements of rock, folk, blues and even a little Celtic. It adds some electronic support using pads and some keyboard as well. All songs are original and are driven forward through dynamics and three-part harmony. One River is Charity Munroe, vocals; Iain Cameron, bass, acoustic guitar, vocals; Chris Lewis, keyboards; Derek Power, drums, percussion, vocals; Mike Power, bouzouki, oud, guitar, vocals.
Many thanks to Mike Power (Helen Foster’s son) , owner of The Cave Recording Studio, who arranged the performers this year and is providing the sound system for the event.
